Recipe type: Dessert
Serves: 20
Ingredients
  • 1 package of Oreos (approximately 36 cookies)
  • 1 stick of butter, melted
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ c. confectioner's sugar
  • 3 c. + 2 tbsp. milk, divided
  • ½ c. creamy peanut butter
  • 12 oz. tub of Cool Whip, divided
  • 2 - 3.9 oz. boxes of instant chocolate pudding
  • 2 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • ⅓ c. Reese's Pieces, crushed
  • Reese's Minis for garnish
Instructions
  1. Pulse the Oreos in your food processor or add them to a large resealable plastic baggie and crush them finely with a rolling pin.
  2. Mix the crushed Oreos with the melted butter.
  3. Spread the mixture onto the bottom of a 9"x13" pan, pressing down with your fingers to form the crust. Put the pan into the refrigerator to chill while you prepare the next layers.
  4. Prepare the peanut butter layer by whipping the softened cream cheese with an electric mixture until fluffy.
  5. Add the confectioner's sugar, 2 tbsp. milk, and peanut butter. Beat on low speed until combined.
  6. Fold in 1 c. Cool Whip. Set aside.
  7. Prepare the pudding layer by combining the remaining 3 c. milk with both boxes of instant chocolate pudding.
  8. Whisk constantly for 2 minutes, and let the pudding rest for another 3-5 minutes to firm up.
  9. While the pudding is firming, prepare the topping layer by whisking the remaining Cool Whip with the cocoa powder and sugar.
  10. Once the pudding has firmed up and the topping layer is done, remove the chilled pan from the refrigerator.
  11. Using a spatula, slowly and carefully spread the peanut butter layer evenly on top of the crust.
  12. Spread the pudding layer evenly on top of the peanut butter layer.
  13. Spread the topping layer evenly on top of the pudding layer.
  14. Pulse the Reese's Pieces in your food processor or add them to a large resealable plastic baggie and crush them finely with a rolling pin.
  15. Sprinkle the crushed Reese's Pieces over the top of the topping layer and garnish with Reese's Minis, if desired.
  16. Chill in the freezer for 1 hour or in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours before serving.
